Slovenia emerges as leading CEE destination for German investors

According to a recent survey by the German-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce, German investors have ranked Slovenia as the most attractive business location among 16 Central and East European countries (CEE).

This renewed interest comes after a decline in 2023, with Slovenia surpassing Estonia as the preferred destination since 2019.

The survey, presented in Ljubljana, highlights Slovenia's strong partnership with German investors, particularly in automotive and industrial sectors, leveraging Slovenian expertise, innovation, and skilled professionals.

Slovenian companies are resilient amid challenging economic conditions, attributed to Slovenia's strategic location and stable business environment. German-Slovenian economic relations are described as stable and fruitful, with German companies in Slovenia providing approximately 50,000 jobs directly and indirectly.
