Equinox, a real estate company formed in 2022 through the spin-off from Hoteli Union, reported a 6.1% increase in net sales revenue to EUR 7.79 million for 2023.
The company's portfolio includes four hotels in Ljubljana's center, such as Grand Hotel Union and Hotel Lev, along with office space in the capital.
Net profit rose by approximately 20% to EUR 870,000. CEO Matej Rigelnik expressed satisfaction with the company's performance in 2023, despite increased macroeconomic risks. Rigelnik highlighted positive changes expected in 2025 due to the expiration of all contractual rent exemptions and emphasized a significant shift in the asset structure, particularly in financial instruments.
Notably, the financial portfolio, comprising bond and equity investments, saw a 21.14% return and was valued at 3.3 million. Rigelnik also mentioned ongoing renovations at the Grand Hotel Union, aiming to elevate it to a five-star hotel by March.
